Woodstock's solar panels are generating electricity!  Click here to view a website that breaks our productivity at the Town Hall down by the day, quarter, etc. as well as pointing out the resource equivalent of what we're NOT using!  Click on "more data" on the upper left side to see other interesting facts.

Thanks to Allan Walker and the Board of Selectmen, Jim Stratos and the Green Energy Committee, and John Navarro and our outstanding Highway Department for making this happen!

Still curious?  Information is also available about the solar panels at the Woodstock Volunteer Fire Association, Highway Garage and the Woodstock Elementary School!

.....and the Quasset School Advisory Committee need your help!  They are looking for volunteers to sew mop caps and aprons for the 3rd Grade classrooms to use each year when they hold their classes inside the historic property to learn about the educational past of Woodstock. Vests are also needed.  In addition, if you would like to donate period clothing from the 1860's for the students (long skirts, dresses, shirts) it would be greatly appreciated!  We are also looking to create a "bank" of people willing to share an old time craft, hobby or stories about going to school in a one room schoolhouse.  If interested in any of the above, please contact Myra Pratte at 860-928-4172.  Thank You.
