**ATTENTION**

Important information about Real Estate and Sewer Use bills.

A lien will be placed on your property and recorded in the land records if you have an unpaid balance on your Real Estate taxes as of May 1, 2011.   In addition, a $24 lien fee will be placed on your account to process the lien.  To avoid a lien, all Real Estate taxes must be paid in full by April 30, 2011.

Liens will placed on Sewer Use bills that have not been paid in full by May 1, 2011.  Lien notices were mailed on April 1, 2011 to all sewer users with an outstanding balance.  Please contact the Tax Collector's Office at 860-928-0208 x318 or by email (click HERE) if you have any questions or concerns.

Fuel and Food Donations Needed Community support is urgently needed for the Woodstock Fuel and Food Fund.  First Selectman Allan Walker has made an appeal for Woodstock residents to help their neighbors get through this heating season and beyond.  According to TEEG, "Joe for Oil" and Operation Fuel monies have been depleted and Woodstock residents in need will only be able to draw from Woodstock Fuel funds at this time. Walker stated, "I am very proud of Woodstock's commitment to helping others, and I know that together we can positively impact the quality of life for lots of local people."

Please stop by the First Selectman's Office at the Town Hall to donate a few dollars for the fuel fund, drop off a bag of non-perishable groceries, or to learn about all the services that TEEG can offer families in need.  Contact the First Selectman's office at 860-928-0208 x336 for more information.
