What We Do:
The Registrars of Voters are elected to a four-year term to fulfill the duties of Registrar of Voters that are prescribed in Connecticut General Statutes. There are two registrars, one from each major political party.

The Registrars of Voters register voters from all political parties and are responsible to the State for maintaining current voter registration records.
They also conduct all referendums, primaries, and general elections held within Woodstock as required by Statute.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE NOVEMBER 5, 2019 MUNICIPAL ELECTION:
The deadline to register to vote, either by mail or online, is October 29, 2019. Mail in registrations must be postmarked on or before the 29th.
If your qualification to vote is attained because of age, citizenship, or residence between October 29 and November 4, you will be eligible to vote if you register during this period. The deadline is 5 PM on Monday, November 4th.
If you need an absentee ballot, the town clerk handles absentee ballots and you must contact her at 928-6595 extension 320.
You may check your registration status on the Secretary of State's website.
The registrars will be doing election day registration all day on November 5th.

Curbside Voting Available for Elderly and Handicapped Individuals: Park in the designated area and the Registrars will come out to your car and take your vote!
Who can work at the polls?
Answer: Any Woodstock resident 16 years of age or older. Pay is $12.00 an hour. Contact the registrar by email if interested.
